    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hai,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you use standard data elements and/or DDDIC structures for the fields displayed in ALV, you get everything defined in the standard by default. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the documentation defined in the standard is not sufficient for your needs, you may add screen-specific additional documentation: After F1 and the display of standard help, press F7 and follow the steps for additional documentation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For user-defined fields, the best is to create and use an appropriate DDIC data element and supply the documentation there. Then, whereever you use it (selection screen field, grid or list output and son on), full doumentation is available.
