Function module to check whether city is valid

Can anyone please let me know whether there is standard function module to check whether the entered city is a valid one

Check first if table ADRCITY is filled in your system for required countries, then use a FM like IGN_CITYNAME_GET.

Else did you search any available [free or not] Web Service or provider of data file to import in SAP. (Look at note 132948 - Transfer programs for the R/3 regional structure or at report like RSADRLSM02)

Thanks for replying. The table ADRCITY is not filled so we wont be able to use function module IGN_CITYNAME_GET. I will check on the note and get back to you.
