Table is not getting updated

Hi all,

I am facing an issuse.

For eg: I am using exit program EXIT_SAPLMRMP_010 and include is ZXM08U16.In that,move some value like 1235(say PART A ) to RBKP_V-ESRNR.

So <b>MOVE A TO TO e_trbkpv-esrre</b>.

But this field is not getting updated in table RBKP_V OR RBKP?

u hav been using TO 2 times

so change it to

<b>MOVE A TO e_trbkpv-esrre.</b>

it is a typo-error. it is only one TO

E_TRBKPV is an importing parameter and it is passed by value. So if you change the value inside your Include this wont affect it.

If you want to change the entries in the database table based on some entry in E_TRBKPV then you should do it directly in this include.

This exit is however used for analysis purposes.

Refer to the Function Module documentation.

i guess INSERT statement would work fine.. Also you have to COMMIT to get the records updated.

Hello,

First check whether the value is moved to e_trbkpv-esrre. If it is moved and if the table is not getting updated, use COMMIT WORK.

Hi Jayasree,

i faced the same prob and this is how i am able to solve.

my enhancement name is m060004 . in this enhancement exit program is function exit_saplbnd -

endfunction. in this one import parameter is i_cekko and export parameter is e_cekko. and in this function i am given one include in which i need to write my code. i am asked to move i_cekko to e_cekko. what i did is i went into the include and just wrote move i_cekko to e_cekko. that worked fine for me.

Hi Jaya,

Bear in mind that parameter E_TDRSEG is an import parameter to the exit FM. Please try to search an appopriate field from return table E_TDRSEG and populate your change there.

And please be alerted that, never ever thinking of use any explicit COMMIT WORK under the exit FM. Futhermore, if you intend to save data to a customize table via exit, you have to code the code under UPDATE TASK FM(this is an additional info where doesn't related to your question).

yes you are right,Meera. I am not able to pass the value since it is an importing parameter. But even I checked in TABLES parameter E_TDRSEG.I am nota able to find it.

Then how can I update the fields in table RBKP. Is there any solution??????
