BDC problem

Hi all,

I have a batch input program for uploading data to KVB2 tranaction, its working correctly when i run the session in foreground or display errors only modes, but when i run in background its giving me errors.

Its saying "No batch input data for the screen"

Any help will be appreciated.

Check whether U are populating data fro all the fields in the transaction or not. It is basically problem with the data.

Some times the screens may change based upon the conditions. So do recording again and change the code

Hi,

Did you enter enter controlling area while recording SHDB?

If not, you have to record this first for KVB2.

Go to transaction SHDB and give your transaction KVB2.

You will get fits screen. here Goto MENU->EXTRAS->SET CONTROLLING AREA

Set the controlling area here.

because this popup comes only first time when you execute this transaction, once we set controlling area for this transaction, it won't show this popup for next time.

May be this could be the reason.

Hi,

Sorry for late reply.

Actually before we run this program we will set controlling area via okks transaction.

then if i process session via foreground it works.

In background its not seting controlling area even though if we set via okks.

So is there anyway to do it in background mode.
