ALE configuration error ?

Hi, Expert:

when I use tcode BDM5 check or BD64 distribute.

the following error message comes:

External Partner System DR0K999888:Functionality not avaible.

or Target system is external system. It doesn't supprot this funciton.

Hi Yunfa,

Have you setup the RFC Destination (SM59) for system DR0K999888?

Also ensure you have setup message type SYNCH with basic type SYNCHRON for outbound parameter in the partner profile (WE20) for logical system DR0K999888.

Target system DR3CLNT100 is not the same as partner system DR3CLNT200.

what's that meaning ? Thank.

Hi, Ferry Lianto:

If I just want to output Idoc file to a specific directory. I should define which kind of RFC destinations. I need specific directory and file name.

Because I see several RFC destination type:

R/3 COnnection

Internal Connections

Logical Destinations

TCP/IP Connections

Connections via ABAP/4 Driver.

Hi Yunfa,

You need to setup File Port (WE21) and assign to the partner profile (WE20). Please ensure you have enough authorization to create/output the file to the application server. No RFC needed for this setup.

Regarding other ALE error 'Target system DR3CLNT100 is not the same as partner system DR3CLNT200', please check your logical system and ensure it matchs with RFC destination.
