User Exit Query - DMS

Hi,

Please suggect me a user exit for chaning the document due date after saving the doc in DMS using T-Code CV01N .

I have currently captured the due date in an export paramater which is caputerd thru characteristics defined in additional data tab.

Plzz assist me on this and be sure of the desired rewards.

you also have a look at these BADIs BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE and BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 ?

CHECK WITH THE FOLLOWING USER EXITS AND YOU CAN USE THEM .

Good morning,

You need to use the Standard DMS Exit, documentmain01, which you can then use to update the characteristic value, based on what your calculation would be, e.g. if you classify the DIR as being "Sensitive" and you have a desired due date of 6 months after creation date, then you would code this to first see what the classification value is, and then to add 6 months onto the creation date to give you the new due date.
