Delivery not complete

Say i have one sales order SO1 with two items 10, 20. with quantity 100 and 200.

I have delivered SO1 item 10 partially say 50 ...DO1.

and SO1 item 20 fully..DO2.

So given the delivery DO1 i want to know that SO1 10 is not completed.

And similarly by looking at DO2 i want to know that SO1 20 is completed.

Which table is used to find this?

And in the tcodes where can we see this status?

The tables VBUK and VBUP will give you the status of the header and each line item of the order respectively.

There are fields in these tables which will give you different statuses for the order.

I just found VBUP shows some delivery status.

I think I can use it. But there are quite a few fields here. I think in my case LFGSA would be needed.

If anyone has any inputs to this, it is welcome.

You have got the right table VBUP, both LFSTA and LFGSA will help you in determining the delivery status

of Sales order item.

The delivery is stored in the LIKP table, which might give you the status of a specific delivery but it might not tell you whether it is partial / full delivery.

Given a Delivery document, you can get the sales order from the VBFA (Document flow) table and then get the status of the document / line item from the VBUK / VBUP tables.

I am assuming that you are lookig for the status at a order level and not at a specific delivery level

Yes you got my reqmnt right.

But wht i was thinking is to fetch SO from VBFA using DO...will have performance issue ...as it is backward tracking...hope i am right.

so i was thinking given the DO if i could this status it would be efficient.

But i think to get this status i would need to use VBUP table.

I was thinking of getting the SO from LIPS instead of VBFA. What do u say?

Whether you get the SO number either from LIKP / VBFA, I don't see a major performance issue. I would suggest that you test it out and whichever gives you better performance use it as its the same functionality that is being achieved.
