> Hello all,

>

> I have a requirement here. I have to retrieve ship-to

> and delivery plant from customer tables and need to

> create an IDOC.

>

> Can I use debmas06 idoc type for this req? I am just

> wondering why to use the standard one only for 2

> values?

Even though you need only two fields it is not recommended to create a new message/idoc type. This is only done when your data is not supported by any of the standard messages!

> Next one is, if I need to create an outbound IDOC for

> this idoc type, how can I do that? An example would

> be of great help.

you mean, example for IDOC config/steps?

Hi Somen,

Yes, you can use IDoc type DEBMAS06 to generate/retrieve customer ship-to and delivery plant.

If you don't want to send additional data within the IDoc, you can reduce the message type to allow only above information available in IDoc.

To generate the DEBMAS06 IDoc, you can use program RBDSEDEB (t/code BD12).

Hope this will help.

Regards,

Ferry Lianto
