Sap Scripts Error

Hi All ,

I have a problem changing my sap script in dev. say client 200 , i can display the form in 200 , when am trying to change the form in client 200 it showing 'ERROR IN OBJECT EDITING ' and displays an error message 'REQUEST/TASK kd1..... HAS INVAILD SOURCE CLIENT 100'. Any suggestion on how to change the form pls...

First copy from one client to othe client, (from 100 to 200) then you try.

Hello,

GO to SE01 - > Give the request Number ->Display

Double click on the request-> Properties and change the source client has 200.

This will solve your problem.

Hi,

client 200 may not be configured for editing

change form in 100 and transport using SCC1

or se71-copy from client

May be the problem is with wrong request number. You can do one thing you can copy the script to other client by going to se71 transaction and using menu utilities-> copy from client. If you want the script only in this client do one thing make any changes in the script and try to save the script then it will ask for the package and request then you give the request id of this client.

Hi ,

Please log into client 200

then run the report 'rstxcpfs'

in this you will have 'source' , Give souce as '100' and pass other paramters. then try to change in 200.

you will be able to do it.

I tried to copy the FORM from source client 100 , but still not able to change the form in client 200..

Vind,

Are you making the copy from target client ? You have to do the copy from target client.

Other way is .. You could download the script using <b>RSCTSCRP</b> in client 100. then in 200 you could use the same program to upload the file. This way you could copy the script.
