Hi all,

in at selection screen output we r writting

loop at screen & checking screen-group1.

so iwant to know that what is this screen we r talking about & what is this screen-group?

SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK b1.

PARAMETERS: vend RADIOBUTTON GROUP rad.

SELECT-OPTIONS: so_lifnr for lfa1-lifnr MODIF ID vvv.

PARAMETERS: cust RADIOBUTTON GROUP rad.

SELECT-OPTIONS: so_kunnr for kna1-kunnr MODIF ID ccc.

SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK b1.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.

LOOP AT SCREEN.

IF screen-group1 EQ 'VVV' AND cust EQ 'X'.

screen-input = '0'.

MODIFY SCREEN.

ELSEIF screen-group1 EQ 'CCC' AND vend EQ 'X'.

screen-input = '0'.

MODIFY SCREEN.

That is identifying the parameters/select-options as the MODIF ID definition as per your code.

Please check the difference with the below change:

tables: lfa1, kna1.

SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK b1.

SELECT-OPTIONS: so_lifnr for lfa1-lifnr MODIF ID vvv.

Like all objects in the R/3 Repository, screens have attributes that both describe them and

determine how they behave at runtime. Screen group is one of them.

Screen group : Four-character ID, placed in the system field SY-DYNGR while the screen is being

processed. This allows you to assign several screens to a common screen group. You

can use this, for example, to modify all of the screens in the group in a uniform way.

Screen groups are stored in table TFAWT.

The screen that we are talking about is the selection screen

Hi,

SCREEN is an internal table with following fields.

NAME,GROUP1,GROUP2,GROUP3,GROUP4,REQUIRED,INPUT,OUTPUT,

INTENSIFIED,INVISIBLE,LENGTH,ACTIVE,DISPLAY_3D,VALUE_HELP,

REQUEST,VALUES_IN_COMBO,COLOR.

Each field can be used to set a property to a screen field.

Dynamically we can change the properties my modifying SCREEN.

A set of fields can be categorised into a group using MODIF ID. This will get stored in SCREEN-GROUP1 for that particular field.

The screen in question is a selection screen. Like u r logically grouping a list of entities on the selection screen. and based on some condition u r performing some action i.e., at selection output. the screen-group refers to nothing but logically combining the related elements.
