Your local PC does not have the Graphical Screen Painter installed on it.

Contact your SAP Installation people or if you have the Client Install Disk... They/you need to re-stall the SAP GUI and add the Graphical Painter. It is not the default.

Have you install the graphical layout editor when installing SAPgui. It is a component of the sapgui, but you need to check it on during installation. If this was not done, you need to run the installation again, and choose this under the development tools section.

Regards,

Rich Heilman

Mani,

As cited above -

"Contact your SAP Installation people or if you have the Client Install Disk... They/you need to re-stall the SAP GUI and add the Graphical Painter. It is not the default."

In your case, you must contact the person(s) that loaded the SAP GUI client software onto your PC. Tell them that they need to install the Graphical Screen Painter as well. This requires them to re-install the client software.

And no... this is client-side software ONLY. It will have NO effect on the SAP app/DB servers.

Don't forget the points for helpful answers.
