I am working on an interface with another application. On the SAP side we will create a custom BAPI. I have explained the other guys that the BAPI will return (amongst other things) an array of type BAPIRET2 and explained the most important fields of BAPIRET2 - starting with TYPE, of course (which is more of a severity code).

Anyway, I explained the meaning of those letters, but I was not too sure about the precise meaning of 'W'.

If a BAPI "CreateWidget" has a W in its return, can the calling application assume that the widget has not been created at all or should it assume that a defective widget has been created?
