Hi,

I wrote a file to application server which has 500 characters in a line. How do i view it?. AL11 displays only around 256 characters. Any other alternative to view the file or change the setting?.

Hi,

The option available is downloading the file to your local PC and view it with Notepad or wordpad . you can also view it at the OS level if you have access to it.

Hi,

You can not see the total line in AL11, if the line exceeds 255 characters. So download your file using <b>CG3Y</b> transaction and download it to your local system and check out using notepad. Now you should be able to see total line.
