regarding dynamic file names

hiii ,

iam doing BDC . i want to download data into an excel sheet . when i try to give a file name dynamically using parameters option , it is giving dump error ..... if someone knows how to do it , help me out

u can used ws_download FM.

if you are using ws_download then use filename of the type rlgrap-FILENAME.If you are using GUI_UPLOAD then declare file name of the type string.

declare filename as RLGRAp-filename

HI RAVI,

declare File parameter as:

PARAMETER: P_FILE LIKE RLGRAP-FILENAME.

if u r using GUI_DOWNLOAD.

UNDER AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST FOR <FILE>.

at selection-screen on value-request for p_file.

perform file_help using p_file.

form file_help using p_p_file.

data: l_filepath type ibipparms-path.

CALL FUNCTION 'F4_FILENAME'

EXPORTING
PROGRAM_NAME = SYST-CPROG
DYNPRO_NUMBER = SYST-DYNNR
FIELD_NAME = ' '

IMPORTING

FILE_NAME = l_filepath

p_p_file = l_filepath.

endform. " file_help
