But I didn't find the oposite of the RMDATIND.

I thought about IDoc, but I'm not sure it's possible.

Please don't speak about SE16

Thanks

Fred

This can be done using ALE/IDocs. A couple of things to keep in mind if using IDocs:

1. Does the receiving system allow external assignment of numbers in this range.

2. Does the standard IDoc have all of the fields needed. If not, the IDoc can be extended.

1. Yes, we used external "number" range for the material number.

2. Yes, we have extend, but it's not important for me.

My big question is :

- What message type I have to use ?

- Do I have to create RFC connexion or could I just copy the file ?

It's 2 SAP System, and it's not the same system.

I'll assume they are both SAP systems. Start with these steps:

1. Define logical system for receiving system. (BD54)

2. Maintain distribution model. (BD64) Define a model view, then highlight the model view and click the "Add message type" button. Choose the sender (LS assigned to your client), receiver(created above) and message type(MATMAS). Save.

3. Define RFC destination for receiver system. (SM59)

4. Define transactional RFC port for RFC destination. (WE21)

5. Maintain partner profile for newly created logical system. (WE20).

Let me know if you have any problems/questions with these steps. I'll get you the rest once you've completed these.

You will want to send these via RFC. You may already have a logical system and RFC destination defined.

Message was edited by: Michael Malvey
