ABAP syntax highlighter

Hi guys, first post on the SDN forums, I hope I'm at the right forum.

I did a bit of an ABAP syntax highlighting code. The code is PHP, it's an extension to an existing PEAR package (<a href="http://pear.php.net">PEAR</a> - PHP Extension and Application Repository), called <a href="http://pear.php.net/package/Text_Highlighter/">Text_Highlighter</a>

You can check <a href="http://www.hiliteme.com/">the online demo</a>, basically you paste some ABAP code and see how it looks highlighted by the service. Then you have options to copy the highlighted code as HTML or BB code and put it into your page, blog posting or post it in forums. From my test it won't work on the SDN forums, because here there are not a lot of [color]s available. As for the HTML, it's using a number of <span class=".."> tags, so when you use it, you also need some CSS definitions, they are provided as well.

You can also get <a href="http://www.phpied.com/hilitemecom-updated/">the source code</a> and use it however you like, no restrictions. Because it's something new, I just did it last week, chances are it's not perfect. So any feedback is highly appreciated.

Hi Guys,

I have a string containing spaces, my requirement is to replace all the spaces in the given string with some other character. Could you please help me the syntax in ABAP for this

hi,

try this..

translate v_str using ' @'.

before @ there is a space.
