Hi,

I have a requirement in ALV.

I cannot create a default layout variant that works for both the summary and the detail view.

Any variant saved in the detail view and applied in the summary view causes the summary view to be un-readable.

Any variant saved in the summary view and applied in the detail view causes the detail view to be un-readable

Hi,

use the handle in the variant parameter to the alv function module..That way the summary layout will be stored separately with the detail report..
