This table doesn't exist in our system, so it's hard to tell exactly what the problem is. You say AUGBL is a field in a key. Is it the first field? Are there other fields in the key before it?

If not, you may just have to select and process less data and run it multiple times.

Rob

Hi Everybody,

I am getting time_out dump for this query.

SELECT opbel

        augbl

        hvorg

        tvorg

   APPENDING TABLE t_dfkkop_temp

   PACKAGE SIZE c_package

   FROM dfkkop

   FOR ALL ENTRIES IN p_it_dfkkcr

   WHERE augbl EQ p_it_dfkkcr-doc1r(12)

     AND xragl EQ space.

ENDSELECT.

There is a index on AUGBL field and query is using index as well. Also p_it_dfkkcr is sorted. p_it_dfkkcr has approx 5000 records and package size is 1000.

Expected records are around 6000 and DFKKOP table is in GB's.

Also I tried INTO TABLE but its not working. Any idea how can I avoid time_out dump.

Also If i am using package size, does it completes one DB LUW or SAP LUW. I mean for every packet selection it will complete DB LUW then goes to DBase again. This should avaoid dump. Any idea about this as well.

Thanks for any help.

Yes - using packets won't decrease execution time. It saves memory not time.

Rob
