difference between NACE and SPRO

I modified an existing MEDRUCK sapscript as for the client's requirements and want to test printing a purchase order. Where do I assign the print program?

in NACE or SPRO ?

Also can you tell me the difference between NACE and SPRO transactions? (in general and also in this case)

Also should we always use 'NEU' as output type?

hi,

you have to set print program in NACE transaction.

NEU is for PO output. if u want u can create your own output type also for same PO iutput in NACE transaction.

SPRO --> ALl Customizing in SAP is done here

NACE --> Define outpput types based on the Application.

You have to assign it in NACE. You can also assign the output type by browsing through SPRO. In SAP same transaction can be accessed via many ways.

Hi,

Output type is used to issue a output for a business object. The output issued could be in any format.

It coule be a printout, Fax, email, ale and so on...

Each Output type are triggered differently and at different time.

No its not always you use 'NEU'. It depends on the requirment.
