      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi sakthi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. table is : DD03L&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;   &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. The texts for the fields are contained in DD03T.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In case of reporting I need to customize the columns to be displayed. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For this u can use the FM,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in which we pass our structure/table name,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and it returns,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;an internal table (called as field catalogue)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;which contains,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the various fields&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;, their descriptions for heading,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;, their lengths,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;, their data type&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;, their format&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;etc etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;amit m.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
