Help In changing Development Class - Urgent

I am new to ABAP and I had to create some Infosets and Queries in lucal development class ($tmp). I want to change development class from local to an existing development class. I am not sure how to do it, otherwise I have to create everything from scratch! Please help.

Hi Mithun.

It can be done in two ways first way is through a standard program RSWBO052.

And secondly it can be done through if go to se38

transaction, then choose the option goto on the menu bar

in that listing select for :Object directory entry, where you can change the development class of an object.

I went to se38 but it does not accept infoset name! I can only enter program names there and change development class. How do I do this for Infosets and Queries?

Follow this.

Go to SM30 transaction. Enter TADIR press chage.

in R3TR PROG line, enter your program name and execute.

in next screeen you can change dev.class by Double Clicking on line

for infosets or queries you must find they Object Class.

eg: reports is PROG, tables is TABL.

Sorry, but nothing works. Any more suggestions? I need to change the development class for infotype/queries.

hi,

you need to go to the transaction where you have created the infotype/queries and change it using the path which i have mentioned above!!!

Query ® More functions ® Change development class, InfoSet ® More functions ® Change development class or User group ® Change development class.

Go to SQ02, enter the infoset name and then in the menu 'Infoset~~>More Functions~~>Change Package'.

go to se80 and select local objects and enter your user id.

it will display all your local objects under your user id.

If you want to change the developement class for a particular object, place the cursor on object and Right click, goto more functions-->object directory entry

Thanks everyone for taking time and posting information. I created Infoset and Query in STANDARD AREA first as a test and then copied to real program. When I first created it was under local objects. I came to know that I cannot change development class (actually I don't need to assign one) in case of Infosets/Queries because transport is done manually in this case. This issue is resolved now and I appreciate everyone's feedback. I awarded points to everyone.
