ERROR IN ECATT

I am trying to make ecatt to upload material master. the error I am getting for some of the fields is that the 'field does not exist in the screen'. Is there a way out.

Have you freshly recorded the eCATT or are you using an old CATT that has been converted into eCATT?

To me It sounds like the latter because otherwise the error message would mean that you recorded a faulty script.

Which pattern does your test script use, TCD (Record) or SAPGUI?

I am using a new Ecatt. I have used TCD[record] for this purpose.

If you give me your email add then i can send you the PPT of the error.

and one more thing I really dont know how to make a recording through GUI. Do u know some link which will help.

Please send the information to uwe.schieferstein@cirrus.ch. In addition to that, I would like to have the eCATT test script itself in order to run it on our systems. In which relase are you running the eCATT (6.20, 6.40)?

You need SAPGUI recording only if have controls (ALV list, tree) in your application. Otherwise TCD recording is sufficient.

Hi Abhishek

Better you record the transcation one more time and try to enter a value there. Dont do any selection for that filed from the list that comes when you press any key.

I am working on a script for MB1c . It is working fine. I have a requirement where user wants to post all the material given thro external file as one single document.

Any hint to achieve this.

Thanks .It is working fine. But still it is posting individual document. Can you guide me exactly how should i proceed on this.
