You can use transaction SE80.

Go to SE80, choose Dev Class from the listbox, enter the name of the dev class, start it with "Z" or "Y". Hit enter, system will ask you if you want to create it, say yes.

Hello,

U can screate the dev. class in Tcode Se80.

Click on other objects Icon and select the development class tab. Give the name starting with Z or Y and click create.

u can fallow this method also

go with abap dictionary->select database table->provide the table for dev classs eg. V_TDEVC-> go for display option-> select utilities->select contents option-> select create dev class,

provide the name and short text,software component->create req.no.

with this dev class will be created

Hi Rob,

Go to SE80. Select development class in upper list box and then give a name to development class you want to create starting with Z or y and press enter. System asks you so you want to create development class say yes and save. You are done

Hi Rob,

You can create Your Dev. class. Just follow the below steps :-

1. Go to Transaction SE80

2. Select Dev. class option

3. Give your dev.class name starting with Y* or Z*.

4. Press create push button

Hi,

go to SE80 -> select workbench ->edit object ->development co-orination -> select package radio button

give name start with 'Z' or 'Y' then click create button.

then system will ask for description , give description and activate it.

system help:

Packages extend the concept of development classes to improve modularization, encapsulation, and decoupling in the R/3 System.

Development classes, used until now, are simple containers for development objects, provided with a transport layer that specifies how they were to be transported. As an enhancement to development classes, packages include the following attributes: nesting, interfaces, visibility, and use accesses.

Hi, Simple way is GOTO to Tcode SE21, enter a package name(in customer namespace Y/Z), click on create-enter the short descriptions, Give Software component has HOME(For customer developments), enter the transport layer, click on create, you get a popup window, where u need to say create request, a new request number will be created, u can give the user names under that request number(CRN) and click on save.

Hi,

Use Transaction code - SM30

Enter TDEVC in Table/View field

Press Maintain

Now click on create Package button and fill the required fields.

Hi,

Use the transaction SE80.

1. Select "Package" from the list box.

2. Enter "ZEST" in the below text box

3. Press "Enter".

4. It will ask you whether to create.

5. Sy "Yes".

6. Give Short Description

7. Click Save button.

Use Tcode SE80 .

In SE80 select Development Class from the Drop Down

Type in the DevClass name and Press enter and then save

development class is also known as package from 4.6c version of SAP R/3,check out how to create package,

-> goto SE80

-> select package from the list

-> enter package name starting with either 'Y' or 'Z'

-> hit enter

-> say yes, again yes,

-> click on create request, enter short description

-> save
