Currency precision

Hello R/3 Gods,

I want to increase the currency precision across

R/3 from 2 digits decimal to 8 digits.

I am exploring all possiblities from simplest to most complex ones.

Has anybody encountered this situtation?

All ideas are invited.

Hi!

How about customizing? In table TCURX the number of decimals (not equal 2) are stored. (SAP netweaver, general settings...).

Don't think about any extension / modification, it won't work because the structures are used in too many places.

If you need high values in addition, you might use two conditions with different currencies as sum in a calculation schema.

Hey thanks for the prompt help.

But still I will need to change the domain

CUKY to have 8 places of decimal, rt?

Isnt there anyway to avoid that?

Hi,

have a look into table TCURX: there are a lot of currencies without decimals or 4 decimals (e.g. EUR4). They are working with the same dictionary in same document - no further changes than customizing of this table!

Don't get messed with KONP-KBETR content - you have to use WRITE kbetr CURRENCY konwa to get the correct display!
