posting problem not solved

Hi Experts this problem is not being solved by T Code -

OB52

today on 1 auggust 2006 .. month changed and after change in our system .. whenever i m going to post any

delivery it's generating an error ..

" Posting only possible in periods 2006/01 and 2005/12 "

The posting date entered is not within one of the permitted posting periods (current period/previous period).

This can be due to one of two reasons:

The correct current period has not been set in the system.

For the system, the first of the entered periods is the current period. At the beginning of a new period, your systems administrator must change the current period in the material master record, using the function "Shift periods". This has not yet been done.

You have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date". **

Did you validate the dates in each period?

There is no gap?

What is the date you are entering for a posting date?

What period does that posting date belong to?

Is this period open for postings?

Are you using the correct company code and chart of accounts?

Has anyone changed the chart of accounts for the company code?

Try to validate the period that is being determined by your posting date. I don't have a system in front of me, but there is a function module that converts calendar date to posting period/fiscal year. Use the result (period/fiscal year) to check the dates defined for the specific period.

But Problem Is Still

when i m going to MMPV

after filling date when executing

it is generating a message

Table T009B incomplete-- fiscal year like that

this is not really an issue for propeller head type people like us. I think you should be talking to an FI functional person.

Hi !

If OB52 is correctly done and the MMPV has done it's work it normally should work.

Could you please check the table MARV for your "BUKRS" ?

Look to the values of LFGJA and LFMON.

They should be now (in August) 2006 08 .

If so and OB52 is correct it has to work...
