inputfield in gui_container?

how can i realize a standard inputfield in a gui_container ( a.e. splitter container )

i want to make a inputfield to enter values for a searchterm and show the objects further in the nearby alv-gridcontrol.

i dont want to use the screenpainter because i want run it in the cl_gui_container=>default_screen so i have the full screen to work.

i tried to fake the inputfield with a cl_gui_textedit control, but this looks not fine.

maybe someone know how to set up a standard inputfield.

You can do something like this :

Use the splitter control and split the screen into top and bottom parts

in the top part : create a small ALV control having only one field and one row which is editable.You can set the "Edit" property of this field as 'X'.

In the bottom part : your normal alv

In the "Data Changed" event of the top ALV,you can trap the input and show the bottom ALV based on that.Use the "Check Changed Data" method to capture the input.

ah ok, i understand never would thought about use the alv like this 😃

thx for bring me back on the right way.

maybe there are some wrapper classes available for this?

otherwise i have to create my own.
