      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BADI and user exits wont be ovverriden if SAP makes patches, but what about changes made with the modification assistant?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you "Insert" code because there is no user exit or BADI?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you "insert" code, for example a call to a custom function:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CALL FUNCTION Z_MYFUNCTION&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;will this bi overwritten by SAP? or will it survive because it starts with Z?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a tutorial och article where I can read the rules for customizations, what will be overwritten by upgrades and what won't?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
