HI,

The main use of CHAIN and ENDCHAIN is that, when you enter a wrong input value, the system stops processing and it will ask you to enter the correct input value.

For example when you enter a character in date field, the system fires a error message asking you to enter the data in correct format.

to prevent this you can use Chain and Endchain

Chain.
Field sflight-carrid value (‘LH’).
Field sflight-connid values (between ‘200’ and ‘500’).
Endchain

.

Regards

Sudheer

Hello Srikanth

I do not think we can fool the SAP standard. However, if your report is a customer report then you could send the error message with type 'S'. If the message clearly indicates the error I would not mind changing it that way.

Regards

 Uwe

Just hit Enter after you get the error message, control goes to where you've started executing the program like start menu or SE38.

Regards

Sridhar
