Delete PR nos. from table EBAN

Hi. I am asked to research if deletion of PRs from table EBAN is possible and if it has no negative or dangerous impact to the system. Is it ok to directly delete entries from table EBAN? If yes, please let me know how so I can implement in our system. Is marked for deletion the easiest but safe to remove the PR from being used when creating PO? Thanks for the help.

Hello ,

Donot delete the purchase Requistion directly from table, because it may cause in consistencies.

use the below function module to delete the same.

BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE

Does this BAPI do is to mark the PR for deletion?

I already tried this fm but it dumps. I only put the PR number ex. 0000031490

Hello,

you have to enter the purchase order number

then you have to

give the REQUISITION_ITEMS_TO_DELETE in the tables parameters

i.e

item no of the purchase requestion say 00010 then Deletion idicator 'X' and close indicator to 'X'.

this will delete and close the PR.

  I guess deletion indicator is set at item level, so 
pass the item number and 'X' for deletion flag and try.
