layout problem

hi!

I am trying to print preview of layout using transaction ME9A. The first time in the messages i defined printer x

and the second time printer y.

I get diffrences in the size of the fonts.

why is there a diffrence in the print preview of the layouyt?

Hi Yifat,

Yes this will happen. The printout is very specific to the device type. Most of the time the layout has to be designed in such a way that it best fits both the layout.

Each printer will have slight difference. Define the layout considering LOCL device type.

Yes, there could be a differnce in the layout display for two differnt printers.As each printer has different printer specification.

You can see the printer setting details in SPAD transaction.

Hi,

The print preview of any layout depends on how the output device is setup.

If your printer x and printer y are setup in similar way in all aspects, then your print preview will be identical.
