Hi Suresh!

There is an easy way to identify the correct object / field combination.

Just save a text change of an existing article (don't make any other changes -> less results in next step).

Take SE16, table CDHDR and search for the entries you just made (e.g. by user and date, this time you know already the object, too).

There should be one matching entry, take the first 3 key fields and select in CDPOS the corresponding entries. Here you get all the fields with change documents. For each of them you can define a change pointer. If there is no change document (e.g. because data element is not marked for 'create change docs), then you can not define change pointers.

Via this way you can find all needed fields (and ignore LAEDA and AENAM - this will be set for every change).

Regards,

Christian
