HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION Error

When i use HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION, i get an error message saying A complex application error has occurred'.. Anyone knows the reason for this??

And i was trying to insert a record in infotype 0045 from another infotype's PAI.

This is exactly the reason.. Instead of a direct call, you will have to put the function call in another Report Program & SUBMIT that Report from the current PAI.. this will isolate the two work processes & eliminate the complex application error..
