Hi all,

what values will be stored in PCL4.

Is it possible to get old value and new value during the infotype changes for a person from PCL4.

For example: If btrtl in infotype 0001 is changed for a person. Is it possible to get those changed(old and new) values from PCL4.

HI,

Yes you can get this information because the values for the previous payroll month will be stored in PCL4. and you can get new values from the table PA0001.

Values for any payroll month get from RT or PCL4.

current values form table PA0001.

Adding to the question if the PCL4 table increase monstrously what is the solution for it. As PCLn are cluster table I want to do something to refine it. Its the only table which growing at an alarming rate.

The Report RPUAUD00 can be used to display the changes.. The Documentation of the rport explains in detail what needs to be done to log the Infotype changes..

If the cluster grows to unmanageable limits, then archive it ( SARA )..
