Hi Friends,

Can any one tell me in addition to ALV what are the different types of graphic controls used in ABAP.

Depends what you mean by "graphic controls"...

SAP supports Treeviews, etc

In addition, it supports true graphing capabilities as well... like you would use in PowerPoint or Excel. It can draw pie charts, bar charts, etc.

Look to programs: GFW_DEMO* for examples of graphing.

1. HTML Control

2. Text Editor Control

3. TREE Control

4. DROP DOWN Control

5. Picture Control

6. Dynamic Documents

7. Calender Control

etc..

Hi,

I recommend to use the Chart Engine. It's available as part of the IGS but also as an ActiveX control within the SAPGUI.

Have a look at the demo program GRAPHICS_GUI_CE_DEMO or directly at the class CL_GUI_CHART_ENGINE.

The customizing settings of your chart can easily be created by using the interactive SAP Chart Designer (see Downloads area of SDN - Web AS). After downloading it you also find the full description of the data XML within the package.
