hi guru's,

i am new to workflow and trying to develop a workflow for PO release. the scenario is, the release strategy of PO is based on approval levels.

for example if the purchase limit is 1000, it should be approved by user 'xyz' and if the purchase limit 2000, it should be approved by 'abc' persons and so on.

will you plez tell how to start workflow for this scenario. plz give me steps to develop it.

best solutions will be rewarded.

HI,

For implementing approval workflows, you`ll have to first set a release strategy for the same and assign users to release groups.

You`ll have to explore the standard workflow for the release strategy and gain the necessary info. On the WF Template, you can use BUS2012 as the triggering object and use check func. module to trigger ur wf.

Refer to the documentation of Release Strategy in SAP HELP PURCHASING.

Hi,

You can change the Approvers according to the your condition by using Rules. Create a new Rule and in that rule assign the agents according to the requirement and use the Rule in your workflow Task.

You can create your Rule in TCode PFAC.

Assign Agents and click generate

Create/Activate Start conditions in swb_cond.
