Create asset Outbound IDOC using ALE (Send/migrate master data between logical systems)

1) Create Port 'TEST' using WE21

2) Created partner profiles using WE20

3) Distibution model BD64

Generated partner priofile succefull and model distrubuted.

Created Asset from AS01 tcode , but IDOC is not created as expected .

Please let me know if i am doing anything wrong here.

Also you've just posted generic steps for any IDoc interface without any detailed information. Not sure how this could be answered intelligently...

Please make sure to search for "asset IDoc site:sap.com" as well.

This is to send master data from one logical system to an other between two different clients.

after I have maintained like the partner profiles and Distribution model in BD64 I have tried to create an asset and no IDOC was generated.(like any other master data internal order,G/L once a new G/L is created an idoc is sent out of the system to replicate the same on the target system.)

Just a thought: have you activated the change pointer for your message type? (transaction BD50). If yes, are you creating IDocs from the change pointers? (transaction BD21).

Not all master data is the same. Some is distributed using change pointers, as Gabriel noted. Some is just distributed using special programs.
