Variant in Custom screen

Hi ,

I have created a custom transaction code using dialog modules , and i want to attach the functionality of saving the data the we give on the screen as variant.

like sap transactions which save screen fields as variants.

can any one suggest me some ideas.

Thank you all for the input , i am able get to the variant on to the screen, if i want to save new values to the same variant from screen, what would be the approach.

Check the function module: RS_VARIANT_CHANGE and other FM's in RS_VARIANT*.
