All

I have 1 yr exp in ABAP(Pure Tech.)and i want to do some

certification.Which module is better for that ..i m interested in FI .Is there separate certification for fucn

ctional and techniqal side..

I want to do a Distance learning course from Symbi. pune on SCM .how it will be better for my future .

Can u suggest any institute that helps in certif.

How much cost of a certifi..

Hey Saurabh...

First off, why do u wanna jump off ABAP? I did ABAP cert. from Siemens without any exp last year and am doing good now. Certify in ABAP and your avenues.

Cert costs about 3 lacs including exam fees. Go on for ABAP cert.

Hi Saurabh,

You can do the certification in any module that interests you.(Finance is a good module to certify in).

The Technical certification would be an ABAP Certification and A Functional certification is again different.

So, you must choose whether you want to be on the Technical side or on the Functional side.

It totally depends on your interest.

Distance learning course form Symbi is good. But, try to focus on one thing to get specialized.

If you are planning for certification in FI module, then even plan to do some 'Finance' related course in Symbi and not on SCM.

So, decide what you are interested in and then try to learn everything in that particular area.

All SAP related certifications are very costly.

Hi Saurabh,

I think if u r technically strong jus go for the certification in ABAP u can do that from Genovate or siemens these both r the best institutes for certification and ya the fees structure keeps changing so u need to call them for the details but up2 last yr it was around 2.75 in siemens!!!

and ya u can do any module as SAP has many modules but its better to stay in ABAP and do well instead of switching over to Functional as FI is totally functional.

The main concern is that i m good enough in techniqal but i don't untdestand any Business terms so i m looking for some functional side .

But i would like to do certf. in ABAP only

but its cost is too much .Actually i want to earn good salary (current pkg is only 2.6K)so i think i have to be certified ...

Any other insti. for certification other than SIEMENS & GENOVAT plz let me know

yes there is different ceretification course for both the functional and technical side,if you r interrested in FI/CO than it is a good step, but there is only few institute which is giving certification courses and SEIMENS among them, they r charging some 2.5 lakhs for the certification course,

and as you have plan for the srm course that also really help you go ahead in your sap field.
