Thus the list will be grouped by the Fields specified in the Sort Condition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The List display method/ Function Module, contains a table named IT_SORT, populate this table with the sequence of the fields required for your purpose.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for example if you want to group by COST CENTER...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IT_SORT-FIELDname = &amp;lt;COSTCENTER&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IT_SORT-UP = 'X'. " X for Ascending&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To write a Footer message use the END-OF-PAGE event in the ALV List.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;    I am using LDB PNP to display the list of employees by cost center. I need to display it in an ALV Grid group by cost center. I know how to display it in ALV grid, but how do i do grouping in ALV?. I also want to know how to display some footer message after the ALV grid is displayed.
