gCTS - Error WRITE_MANIFEST_FILE File handler cannot write file during CLONE of Github repository

Hi,

I have created a new remote repository in GitHub and created the same repository as PROVIDED in gCTS Fiori app of SAP system. I am trying to clone this remote repository using the 'Clone Repository' button in gCTS Fiori app, but getting below error: Can you please help what is causing this issue?

Error when cloning repositoryException

Could not clone Repository.

Hi,
I am a bit surprised that the issue comes up when cloning. and not when creating the repository. You could nevertheless check whether the vSID was created successfully in STMS. In addition, this issue can come up if the permissions for writing to the gcts-Folder are not set or if the java-path is incorrect.
