Hello everybody,

we have a central Code Inspector check system (Release 753, SP00) and several other systems where we would like to check our custom code.

We already executed some checks (FUNCTIONAL_DB, PERFORMANCE_DB, S4HANA_READINESS_REMOTE) from transaction SCI of our central check system to one of the satellite systems via RFC.

Now I would like to execute same checks from Eclipse 2019-06 (ADT 3.4.1) and fix them by quick fixes starting from our central check system.

Can anyone please help me with this request? Would be really great.

Thanks in Advance.

 <DEL></DEL>

Hi Stefan,

Up to now, quickfixes can only applied locally meaining in the local system where the ATC checks have been executed, e.g. after an upgrade to S4HANA. Please check out olga's blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2018/10/02/semi-automatic-custom-code-adaptation-after-sap-s4hana-system-conversion/

Regards,

Axel

Hi Axel,

thank you for your reply.

That means it's currently not possible to quick fix custom code proactively in a system which is not min. on 1809 yet, right?

Are there any plans on the roadmap to enhance the Quick Fix functionality by this feature? This would be an enormous effort for all customers which are using a central check system (which SAP is recommending in many blogs 🙂 ).

From our view, the perfect scenario would be:

1. Create a global inspection (e.g. with variant S4HANA_READINESS_1909) from central check system to a non S/4HANA system

2. Connect to the central check system on eclipse

3. Choose the created global inspection and quick fix the upcoming results remote on the non S/4HANA system

This would round up the whole central check system scenario.

Kind Regards,

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for the feedback! For sure, we have already discussed this and will discuss this. It might be a high effort to implement such a feature, but we definitely know what's needed.

Best Regards,

Axel
