BAPI action group connection error

Hi Experts,

I am trying to follow the below tutorial as-is to see how a BAPI action group would work for an on-premise S/4 system. However, I get a connection failed error without any further details.

Not sure, if we have to explicitly add the BAPI SDK under dependencies. But, I have added it as well.

Our on-prem system properties looks like this:

I sign in using an Id and password and we also have a VPN that we need to be connected to (Not sure if that matters).

Can I have any experts advice what type of connection should I choose in the BAPI action group? I have tried all combinations of connection type even though some of them are not relevant. I get 'connection error' for all of them.

I also have the desktop agent installed and is in attended mode.

Is there any other setting that needs to be taken care of, eg: in the backend system? Has anyone experienced this issue before?

I'm getting the similar error; did you find out what the problem was here?
It'd be really helpful if you could share.

When I give the details of the system for Basic connection type, I'm getting an error "Pre-requisites are missing".
