Create Transaction code in custom namespace

Dear Experts,

With respect to SAP version 470 on Windows platform

Database MS SQL server 8.00.2040

I have created custom namespace /CSTNMSP/

Then,I created naming convention for the custom

namepsace as /CSTNMSP/

Created a transaction for a program /CSTNMSP/TC01

When I enter the transaction code in the command window of SAP GUI as /CSTNMSP/TC01 and press enter

A error Message

"This function is not possible"

Message no. 00127

is given by the SAP GUI.

5. If I enter in the command window

/n/CSTNMSP/TC01

the program screen comes successfully.

If I enter in the command window

/o/CSTNMSP/TC01

the program screen comes successfully in a new session.

6.The transaction /CSTNMSP/TC01 does not run from the SAP GUI is it limitation in SAP ? Any OSS notes ?

Is it standard functionality,

all users of custom namespace transactions have to run the transactions as described above at serial number 5 ?

Hi Gurpreet,

There is a limitation in SAP GUI. With a forward slash in front, SAP GUI only recognizes either "n" or "o" as a valid command. Your option 5 is a correct way to do it. Another option is to include your custom transaction in your Favorites folder to avoid typing long string each time.
