BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2: Document info record update object links - DOCUMENTDIRECTION

Hi all,

we are using BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 and BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 for the management of supplier invoice documents. We need to pass DOCUMENTDIRECTION to the OBJECTLINKS table to enable navigation from the object link to the document in MIRO. Interestingly, when we manually add the link via gui, the document direction is automatically set to A, visible via BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2.

However, despite our efforts to pass DOCUMENTDIRECTION to BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2- OBJECTLINKS along with OBJECTTYPE, OBJECTKEY and OBJECTKEY_LONG, our attempts have been unsuccessful. Although, the object link is saved, the document direction A is not retained.

Has anyone in the community encountered this issue before? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated 🙂
