IW42-Adding Causes to Notification

Dear Friends,

I wanted to create 'causes' for a given Notification.

I am using the BAPI "BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD" for the same. This scenario is based on the transaction IW42.

The use of this BAPI does not result in the addition of 'Causes' to the notification. Can anyone help me to resolve the issue?

Friends,

I got solution for my problem. The solution is to

use the BAPIs 'BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE' and 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' after the BAPI call

BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD.
