Modifying selection screen based on start of selection processing

I have a requirement where I need to disable a Parameter(which is for selecting a file) after I have extracted the data from the file and validated it and display it in a report.

Then when I go back to the selection screen the parameter used for importing file should be disabled.

Just need to know if it is possible or not. If yes then how should I approach this.
