Temporary SO10 text

Dear all,

I’m having an issue – or at least a workaround – regarding how to get the styles ready for standard texts.

I have defined a TEXT object with its style for every ITEM TEXT to be printed.

When debugging it, I can see the data of the text which needs to be mapped.

It returns an error as long as there’s no chance to printed.These elements are not available in the system.

As long as I would need the TEXT object to be available for using the Styles, which would be a good approach for it?.

Should I:
1.- Use FM DELETE_TEXT to ensure there’s no previous text creation
2.- Use FM READ_TEXT to get the content of the text
3.- Use FM SAVE_TEXT using this content and create it so we can map it

Is there any additional way to get this "temporary“ standard text ready?

It would be just awesome if you would give me a hint!. 🙂

I think you need to save the standard text temporarily in the database (COMMIT WORK?) and then delete it when you no longer need it.
