Barcode in Classical Report

Dear Experts,

We have an urgent requirement to add barcode for Storage Bin field as a new output column in LI04 transaction.

And we have already copied this standard transaction to ‘Z’ program and added other additional fields as required.

Issue where we are stuck is only on the barcode part. This is a classical report and not a SAP script (or) Smart form (or) Adobe.

Also, I tried below sample code per old forums and it prints the actual value '12345678' instead of barcode.

DATA: l_barcode(16) TYPE c VALUE '1234568'.

NEW-PAGE PRINT ON IMMEDIATELY 'X'.

FORMAT COLOR OFF INTENSIFIED OFF.

WRITE: /.

PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION 'SBP01'.

WRITE: l_barcode NO-GAP.

PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION 'SBS01'.

WRITE: /.

Please let us know if anyone of you have implemented barcode in classical ALV report. It is really urgent and I appreciate any inputs.

Did you check the print control used is linked to the printer type used to do your test ?

TSP03 to get the printer type

T022D to get the link print control/printer tye

Yes Frederic, Print control I had used in my program is linked to device type of the printer used for generating the output. Still, it shows the value instead of barcode.

When you display on the screen, you don't see the barcode, it's only when it's printed that you can see the barcode.

If you want us to check your barcode configuration, please share it.
