Finding Screen Field Syntax

Suppose I have given a screen with some fields in it and asked me to change the logic for that particular field, what is the easy way to find the logic for that particular field in the program! How to find where the logic is written for that particular field?

are you speaking about selection-screen ? trans SE38

are you speaking about logical database ?

are you speaking about Fiori, WebDynpro, BSP .... ?

Are you sure you haven't forgotten a tag, by the way, your question being very generic?

If you know ABAP and Dynpro, then you should understand the logic of the program for this screen field. Otherwise you need some training. Of course, we can't help you if you don't have a precise question.
