Hi Molly. It would be good if you provide more details about the issue, like what database are you running this statement at, or what is the structure (data types) of the used data?

Plus tag properly SAP product you use (seems like Crystal).

are you still after that issue? I think one of your IF return a false (or a true) and you are trying to assign a value instead
